Youngsters life & Social media

Authors

In my professional career have seen, interacted and worked closely with many youngsters.

My observations are:

  1. Almost all of them sound very tough but a little hit they break down - A small challenge to their self-esteem will bring them to their knees. Most of them are afraid of failures.
  2. Patience is a virtue and most of these youngsters are looking for instant gratification - Little they realise something that comes quickly will also leave at the same speed. It takes approximately 36 weeks to deliver a baby, so!!!
  3. They have the trauma of being 'unfriended' - When it happens they are not able to take it in their stride and move on. Probably this has got to do with point 1
  4. Very few have personal and professional goals - it is fine to take life as it happens. When you decide to go with the tide you should also be ready to face the negative sides of it
  5. For those who have goals (whatever it might be) don't know where to start
  6. Being idealistic is not insane
  7. Afraid to say 'Sorry'. Sorry is such a word that can change the direction and gives peace of mind

It's never too late to realise and learn.

Being professional is something that comes with experience. When someone says ‘Be professional’ it means, to begin with, do not mix personal issues with professional issues.

Sarcasm is a double-edged sword. The person whom you think knows you well might take it the other way, when you least expect it.

Don't be wary of the future.  The best thing about future is it only can come one day at a time.
